Olav

He stood on the bridge of their newest airship, Cyclos #1. 15 other Hindengogs and the second Cyclos hovered high above the scorched volcanic lads of the Ka’rhug. Olav remembered their oldest ally back in the days before the UTR when all they and a few others had was the Lur Union, and even that wasn’t much. Now they had to pick sides, and fight one another and Reshed had known where Rhug’na’ru loyalties lied: with the Ka’Rhug and the Ol’lur. However, he sided with Ka’rhug in the end, after he was left alone in his room for a few days of thought. Olav had no problem with his decision, he had supported it in the end, rallying the gogs fit for battle against their former allies.

He had their biplanes strapped to the bottom of the airships he brought, 16 in total, fully armed. Two Cyclos Models and 14 Hindengog models, so 18 biplanes in total, also fully restocked. Their plan was fairly simple considering the events which were to unfold. Their airships would be spread evenly around the mountain, getting good vantage points if necessary. However, the two Cyclos airships will be close around the single road, their weapons aimed at the pass, but they would not fire until the enemy was more tightly packed. Until the battle started all the airships would be above the clouds for cover. The planes would be unhooked and flown before the descent of the airships, taking out any flying enemies with rockets and bullet fire, doing bombing runs on the advancing armies with petrol bombs and other explosive when they had the chance. When the skies are less densely packed, the airships will descend and begin firing on remaining air forces and then focus on the ground with their rockets and machineguns.

Olav sighed as he looked down at the barren landscape, soon to be filled with the bodies of friends, both past and present. He would regret this eventually, as would the rest of the Rhug’na’ru, but they did this not for Kolgol or their god, but for the people led astray from a path that was good. They would be protected, and hopefully they could be brought back to the proper path. But defending the citizens of the tribe was not up to him, it was up to Hide and the two Zephos airships to defend them.

Hide

The hot sun beat down upon the two large airships, filled with goods in the large cargo holds. But food and water was not all they brought. Weapons and defenses, their steam tank, and a few biplanes, were brought as well. Hide stood at the bridge of the lead vessel, slowing the ship down as it approached the camp, where many citizens of the Ka’rhug huddled underground from the heat. They were here to defend them from armies that saw only Kalok in these peaceful people, led astray by the false god. But that did not matter to the Rhug’na’ru, nor Hide. These people needed to be defended and they would be there to do just that.

The two airships would be high up, firing missiles and machineguns from above the settlement, six biplanes would perform bombing runs and fire into any advancing armies, taking out air forces as they needed to do so. However, before trying to fight them off, Hide would attempt to talk the enemy forces away from the fort, as only civilians lay inside. If not, then he would resort to the other option.

These citizens would be safe, Hide would make sure of that, with his life if need be.

Both

If any airship is downed, they have their rifles and shoulder mounted rocket launchers to fight with, with hellforged machinepistols and gravestone ammunition to fight with.

Sir Mag’Nrs knew a pissing contest when his saw one, with those who worshiped the demon Kalok boiling down to the self worshiping Krodnok. He watched from a ways back, talking with two of the Morgothian followers and 10 of the Ur Kug followers, “My brothers, they should try worshiping a real god, one that can actually perform miracles.” Using ORATOR, telling any nearby how he thinks of the upstart religions. With that Mag’Nrs sends our his controlled deamonbeast, and all of the followers sent out their controlled nightmares that they collected from their clearing services to attack towards Mount Rhug.
